Terms & Conditions

These are the ground rules for using TaskTime Pro. The short version: your data is yours, the app is provided as-is, and you are responsible for your own records and backups.

1. Acceptance

By using TaskTime Pro you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. What TaskTime Pro is

TaskTime Pro is a local-first productivity app for freelancers. It helps you track time, manage tasks and expenses, and generate invoices. Core use runs in your browser and stores work records on your device. There is no required TaskTime account or TaskTime-hosted workspace database.

TaskTime Pro is a tool, not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing anything you create, export, or send — including invoices, time records, and expense reports.

3. Your data, your responsibility

Because your work records live primarily in your browser (and optionally in your own Google Drive or Dropbox), you are responsible for keeping backups, maintaining accurate records, and securing your devices and accounts. If you clear your browser data and have no sync or export, that data is gone — we cannot recover it because TaskTime Pro does not maintain a hosted workspace copy.

4. Cloud sync

Cloud sync is optional. When enabled, it stores sync documents in your own selected Google Drive or Dropbox account. Routine sync file requests travel directly between your browser and that provider. TaskTime Pro's edge service securely maintains the provider connection and issues a short-lived browser token, but does not receive routine sync file bodies. The sync feature depends on Google's or Dropbox's services and Cloudflare, and is governed by their applicable terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, outages, or policy changes.

5. Invoice email sending

Optional Pro hosted sending delivers emails via Resend (resend.com), a third-party email delivery service. Its terms of service and privacy policy apply to that service. Creating PDFs and sending them yourself remain free.

Pro and its trial include 100 hosted emails per UTC calendar month. Each message accepted by the delivery provider counts, including reminders and separately forwarded copies. Unused emails do not roll over, and we do not charge automatic overage fees. When the allowance is used, you can still download PDFs and send them yourself. We do not guarantee delivery — recipient spam filters or service availability may prevent emails from arriving. You are responsible for confirming receipt with your clients. Do not send unsolicited messages.

6. No warranties

TaskTime Pro is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and uninterrupted operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TaskTime Pro and its operator will not be liable for data loss, sync failures, corrupted records, interrupted business, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded by law, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for TaskTime Pro in the twelve months before the event — which may be zero.

8. Changes and availability

TaskTime Pro may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time. Features — including sync behavior and supported integrations — may evolve. Keep your own backups of anything important.

TaskTime Pro is free to use. The optional Pro plan adds unlimited active clients, advanced reports and hosted sending. Paid subscriptions renew annually unless canceled through billing settings in the app. Advertised subscription prices include VAT where applicable. The total and purchase terms are shown before payment. A Pro trial does not charge automatically, and ending Pro does not delete your work. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

You can cancel at any time; Pro access continues until the end of the paid billing period. If a renewal payment fails, eligible subscriptions receive up to seven days of Pro access while payment is recovered. After that, the app returns to Free until payment succeeds. Your existing work is preserved. A founding price continues only on the same uninterrupted subscription; once that subscription ends, a new subscription uses the current standard price.

You may request a full refund within 14 days of an annual purchase or renewal by emailing support@tasktime.pro. After that window, we do not normally provide prorated refunds. We will still correct billing errors and honour any refund or cancellation rights required by applicable law. Cancellation alone does not request a refund. We aim to respond to billing and support requests within two business days.

9. Termination

You can stop using TaskTime Pro at any time. Access to connected features may be restricted or suspended if necessary for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as TaskTime Pro evolves. The current version will always be posted here with the date it was last changed. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
